Great place

MaryJane - 26th October 2020

Very clean and quite spacious. Great deck which we unfortunately couldn’t use because of the rain and cold weather. Come prepared with your own tea, coffee pepper, salt etc as this is more of an agency rental than an airbnb.

Well thought out accommodation

Sue - 26th December 2019

Forget reviews from years ago, this us one of the best resourced holiday house I have stayed at. We did Xmas here and it didn't matter what we looked for, generally it was available. Yes plenty of cutlery and crockery, but also heaps of trays, pans, cooking tools, blender etc . It was well set out with plenty of chairs and tables . Very clean. No air con or fans but has heating both up and downstairs (we took fans), and the breeze was good. Great pet friendly yard (we had small dogs) and back deck. Close to town, able to walk to or drive. Very close to a jetty you can fish from which also has a park. House has 2 living areas inside and two outside (front and back). Full laundry, modern bathrooms. We were dissapointed though that the high chair and stroller were not there, as we then had to hold the baby at mealtimes. We played lawn games out the back on the lawn and used fold up camping chairs we brought but you can watch from the back deck.quality bedding and very clean. Games supplied , books available boogie boards were there. This isn't a motel so you do need to bring tea coffee eye. Easy check in, good contact from agent. Well worth considering

Great location

MummaL - 21st March 2019

This property is ideally located for walking to town,Spencer Park and Bar Beach (if you are fit enough). The house overlooks the back lake, with kangaroos hopping past the back fence. We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful holiday there.

Beautiful house but lacking amenities

Traveller242 - 6th November 2018

The house was immaculately clean and beautiful throughout but for the price we paid I would have expected a few more conveniences. For example: wifi would have been great, as would some light blankets (with only doonas or sheets we had a choice between being too hot or too cold each night), and definitely more pantry basics (there was only salt and sugar). For only a short stay, you don't want to have to bring or buy absolutely everything you need, unless you're paying budget rates. Otherwise the house and locality were lovely. Very close to town centre.

Excellent location

Patty - 20th February 2018

The location was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen doesn't live up to that statement. There was one red wine glass and no dishes that you could use in the oven. The only table to eat off is on the deck which isn't much good if its raining. Ad says it accommodates 8 in style, there are only 6 chairs so not sure where the other 2 people sit . The broken furniture in the lounge room could be removed as well as the outdoor furniture that greets you as you enter. Overall, tired looking furniture throughout.

Caters for everyone

Elsie - 15th November 2014

Great location, easy walk to beach & town. Kids kayaked on the lake until late while we BBQ. Downstairs room was perfect for the teenage girls. Caters for all ages
