Things to Do in Merimbula and on the Sapphire Coast

It doesn't matter what you are interested in doing, you will find you can do it on the Sapphire Coast.

You can visit some of the many attractions in the area including Magic Mountain, Top FunMandeni, or the movie cinema. If you are feeling adventurous you might like to try some sea kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or kite surfing.

If you prefer the arts, you might like to visit one of the many art galleries in the area including the lovely Boardwalk Art Gallery in Merimbula.  There is plenty of cultural activities as well and you might enjoy a visit to a local museums or one of the historical sites.

Of course Merimbula and the Sapphire Coast is famous for its unspoilt beaches and waterways where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, fishing, diving or just relaxing. But the beauty is not restricted to the sea, visitors to the area can wander through some of the many gardens, or visit one of the national parks where you can do some bushwalking on one of the famous walks like the "Light to Light" walk.

If you are interested in sports, the Sapphire Coast will fulfil your needs with more than 5 great Golf Courses including the popular Tura Beach Country Club and Pambula Merimbula Golf Club.

If the weather is beach-worthy, you can head indoors for some retail therapy at one of the areas many shops. Merimbula in particular has a cosmopolitan range of shops, cafes and restaurants.

If you want explore the area on a scenic route, there are plenty of tourist drives around the Far South Coast, or, you can have one of the local guides take you on a tour either by air, water or land.

By the time you have finished doing everything there is to do on the Sapphire Coast, you will be in some serious need of rest and relaxation, which of course, is catered for as well. You can enjoy a massage or some pampering at one of the many health and well-being facilities in the area.

There is so many things to do and see around the Sapphire Coast that you will find it difficult to choose, which means that you may have to plan a second visit, or a third, or even better, an annual family holiday.
