Eden Killer Whale Museum

Eden Killer Whale Museum

The Eden Killer Whale Museum was first built to house the skeleton of the intrepid and much loved character 'Old Tom'. The Museum has developed over the past eighty years to become a interesting and entertaining source of Eden's rich whaling history. It is now recognised as one of the most progressive and innovative museums in regional New South Wales.

Regular exhibitions are run that reflect the unique subject of the Museum. Guided tours are available and are a great way of viewing the collection.

The Museum is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and their valuable efforts toward the preservation of Eden's fascinating history should be acknowledged. The Eden Killer Whale Museum is a 'must see' while on holiday on the beautiful Sapphire Coast.

Bring the family and share with them the unique history of whaling. The kids are sure to have a chuckle at some of  Old Tom's antics!
